Q: How do I page a GameOp if a user is bothering me?
A: Type /page followed by the reason. This will page a game op and one should
come help you shortly. If you do not need urgent help do not page the GameOp;
it could cause you to be punished.
Q: What are these strike things Ops talk about?
A: The Op system works on a four strikes and you're out system. Warning
is one strike, fining is two strikes, temp banning is three strikes. After
that you're out and get permanently banned from the game.
Q: What determines the penalty the GameOp can give me?
A: Your past record of strikes determines what a GameOp can do.
If you have no strikes against you GameOps will execute a warning,
following one strike, the second strike will be a fine. Strike three they will apply a
temporary ban, this can vary anywhere from 1 hour up to 18. Finally, the fourth strike will be permanent banishment on your account.
The
strikes do expire so if you were just caught out of character a few times
you cannot be removed from the game.
Q: I had an op warn me, or perform another action. How long before the strike on my record from this action expires?
A:
Warnings expire in 7 days
Fines expire in 14 days
Temp Bans expire in 28 days
Perm Bans never expire
Q: So if I get warned and then fined how long do I have to behave before
the GameOp has to warn me again?
A: 14 days from the time of the fine. After that date your account would
be free of strikes and GameOp would have to warn you again.
Q: A GameOp just warned, fined, or banned me, how can I find out why?
A: You can view your own op log history
when you edit your account, it will give you the reason along with a log
showing what you were doing.
Q: Where can I see my strike record?
A: Your strike record can be viewed when you edit your
account.
Q: How do I complain about an op's behavior, or what should I do if I felt I
was unfairly punished?
A: You should make sure you were unfairly punished first by viewing the op
log for the strike in question. If you want to protest it
contact support with your
e-mail address, the date of the strike in question, and someone will
review it.
