Q: What class is the best?
A: All classes are about equal in power, there are a number of "rock, paper, scissors" effects with the classes because of good vs. evil. For example a Warlord is strong against a wizard, but weak against a priest. You should review the class docmentation and make your choice.

Q: How high can my To Hit, To Cast, To Save, and to Dodge go?
A: They can all go up to 98%.

Q: How high can my resist air, earth, fire, and water go?
A: They can all go up to 70%.

Q: I Created a player that I don't like, how can I delete or recreate them?
A: Use the
Character Reset option, this will let you recreate the player. Keep in mind the player you are trying to reset will have to be idle (not played) for 2 hours before it can be reset.

Q: Why can't I control my resist light and dark?
A: Your resistance to light and dark magic is based on your alignment. If you are on the side of good you will be resistant to light magic, but susceptible to dark magic.

Q: Why do higher level spells or attacks seem to work less often?
A: Higher level attacks and spells are more complex than lower level skills, thus they have a slightly lower chance of working. However, this complexity makes them equally difficult to dodge, save, and block against.

Q: Why would anyone want to dodge or wait dodge?
A: Becoming good at dodging and wait dodging is an asset and will prove extremely helpful as the game progresses. A player with a high dexterity and To Dodge will be very difficult for anyone to kill. Try them out and see for yourself.

Q: How do the Strength, Intelligence, etc. Modifiers work? How high can they go?
A: The modifiers do not have a maximum, they will continue to go up and up as long as you keep playing the game. All the modifiers add a bonus if they are above 15 and a penalty if they are below.

  • Strength will add 1% to weapons damage for every point above 15, and is trained by using physical attacks. For example; if your strength is 30 and your weapon does 100 points of damage, it will do 115 points after modified for your strength.
  • Intelligence will add 1% to your spell points for every point above 15 and is trained by casting spells. For example; if your intelligence is 30 and your base SP is at 100 your actual SP will be 115.
  • Dexterity will give your armor and shields a 1% blocking bonus for every point above 15, and is trained by dodging in battle. Dex will also let you move faster in combat, and will give you a greater chance to move first. For example; if your dexterity is 30 and your armor has a to block of 50%, your armor will have a to block of 65% after being modified.
  • Endurance will add 1% to your hit points for every point above 15 and is trained by taking damage in battle. For example; if your endurance is 30 and your base HP is at 100 your actual HP will be 115.

Q: I hear everybody talking about training, what is this?
A: Training is battling another player using a specific skill, with the goal of increasing the related modifier. ie. dodging lots in a fight to increase your dexterity.

Q: The ToC states "Throwing fights in order to gain experience for yourself or gold for others" is not allowed. Does this mean training is against the rules?
A: Training modifiers is fine, throwing fights however is not. Deliberately losing fights does not raise modifiers. This is frowned upon, and doing so you could wind up being punished. As this gives an unfair advantage over others, and falls against VQ2's Terms and Conditions of play.

Q: I don't see what I need here, where is the full player documentation?
A: Check out the VQ2 Manual if your question wasn't answered.
